The filmmaker’s name is Carly Johnson, and she is a sixteen year old, junior in high school. She began her animation journey at the age of eight, but it wasn’t until she was ten that she created her first short film. Since then, her skills have flourished and she has explored various programs in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, meriting a Rich Media Certificate in Adobe Flash CS6. Her videos have earned over $14,000 for herself and for her school, and she has even traveled to Michigan, Washington DC, and San Francisco to attend various award ceremonies. Animation isn’t only something she loves; it’s a medium for her to spread powerful messages and inspire others to make a change for the better.
