Reaching the Podium: The Champions of ABBR

I am an independent film maker.  I gather friends and we make films, not for money, but because we love making films.  My “sound guy” works at ABBR, a rehabilitation hospital in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that works with the disabled. As we are having the Olympic Games now in Rio, his friend and co-worker, invited us to make a film comparing the struggle of Olympic athletes to that of those with disabilities.

That is what our film is about. Not one single personal triumph. But the triumph of many.
