A film exploring the widespread beliefs on Autism Spectrum Disorder guided by a diagnosed narrator in the hope of inspiring Autistic people that if they believe in themselves they can achieve anything.
My intent when making this film was to reshape the common misconceptions people have about Autism Spectrum Disorder. I wanted to reset all of the negative beliefs people held about what we can’t do and replace the word ‘never’ with ‘can’, inspiring disabled people that anything is possible.

I am a year 12 high school student with a passion for filmmaking. Ever since I was a child I have always had a interest in telling impactful stories in a variety of mediums. Last year in disability awareness week I was invited to talk to Bellingen Public School about my life with Autism. I wanted to convey to the children (many of whom were Autistic) that I have used my disability to achieve many great things and talked about the positive sides of my condition. Ever since then I have been hoping to express those messages through the medium of film.
