Stories Lived

Helping The Victims of The Jay Street Fire

In March 2015, a horrible fire ripped through a multi-tenant residential building in Schenectady, NY.  This devastating fire, known as “The Jay Street Fire,” displaced 70 residents who were in need of food, clothing, shelter and long-term support to rebuild their lives.

Fundabilities.com raised money to provide support for victims of the Jay Street Fire.  On April 2nd 2015, a Special Mixer was held at Johnny’s Restaurant, a local Schenectady establishment.  All proceeds were used to help families in need and were given to The Schenectady Foundation’s Rebuilding Families Fund.

A big Thank You to the Mallozzi family who is donated food for the event.
