Leah’s Story

Australian swimmer Leah Neale qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympic games. She competed in the 4x200m relay Freestyle alongside Emma McKeon, Bronte Barratt and Tasmin Cook. The team finished the race in second place, winning a Silver medal for Australia.

Leah’s Story is a documentary that focuses on the Australian Olympic Swimmer, Leah Neale. It tells the story of her passion for swimming, her aspirations as an athlete, and how far she has come to become an Olympic swimmer representing Australia.

From the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, is 20-year old Hayley Condon.  Hayley has a passion for Drama, Theatre and Photography.  She has studied Film since 2011, where she first learned how to create a short film from her Film Studies teacher Phillipa Walker.

After graduating in 2013, Hayley applied and was accepted for a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Drama and Screen Media Studies at University of the Sunshine Coast.  She is nearly finished with her degree and will be graduating in April 2017.

As much as Hayley loves creating and producing films, her passion lies in the theatre. She hopes to pursue her dream of becoming a theatre maker.  Hayley hopes to get accepted into the Masters of Professional Practice of Performing Arts for 2017, where she plans to kick start her career in the performing arts industry.
