Stories Lived

The Heidelberg Project: 30 Years of Creativity

My story started in Detroit, a city disregarded by many today. I was inspired to do a documentary on the project by Tyree Guyton because of his commitment to be part of the solution. To parallel the city rising from the ashes. Guyton said that if you are going to try something then do it at home and so I did with this project.

Many people can overlook stories like Tyree’s. Many people can overlook the city of Detroit and it’s past. Many people can overlook another documentary. But by watching and living within this video, one can instantly gain some insight.

The words and actions of Tyree do not go exclusive from life. Being able to lift yourself back up, being able to do what no one else has imagined, and being able to show others a new perspective are goals ever person should always have.

I hope to see this documentary help to expand the sight of others and that they take whatever they so chose to see from this project.
