For the Love of Cats shares the story of Don Juan, a friendly cat from Miami, and Ms. Jeanne App, the volunteer who rescued him.

Ms. Jeanne App, a former IT professional, serves as the President of the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County (AWLMC), an all-volunteer, no-kill, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless cats in Montgomery County, Maryland.  AWLMC is active in all aspects of cat rescue and animal welfare.
