Crough Patrick is known as the Holy Mountain of Ireland. Every year thousands of people climb Crough Patrick to renew their faith or to see the spectacular views that Clew bay has to offer. Crough Patrick also contains a gold seam that is worth in the region of 400 million. However, extraction techniques would have led to the destruction of the mountain and the surrounding environment. This documentary follows the work of the local community to prevent the mining occurring.
