Sharks mysteriousness and reputation in the ocean as an apex predator have caused them to become one of the most misunderstood creatures in the animal kingdom. And naturally, as humans, we fear what we don’t understand. I was lucky enough to meet Ryan Bruner, a cage-less shark diver, while on the North Shore of Oahu. Ryan shared a similar passion for the creatures he dives with, and was on board with the project.

My name is Jack White and I am a freelance videographer and a recent graduate of the New England School of Communications. I has a passion for video, the environment, and travel. Originally a Massachusetts native, I have been living and working on the island of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands for the past 6 months. I’m happy I was able to finally use my medium of video, to maybe help the world become a better place for sharks and their environment, in turn, helping the ocean and ecosystem prosper.
